From the studio! These photos were taken from the front window which overlooks Place Bernard Halpern, a picturesque plaza surrounded by small cafes, shops, and a gymnasium. The top photo is also the background for pages of this web site. From top to bottom, one sees the uninterrupted Hausman architecture of the fifth arrondisement (Metro station and rue Monge hidden behind the trees), l'eglise Saint-Médard, and the churchyard garden.
